Amazing location. Spectacular view. Pool area and little patios were lovely, with the blooming lavender and hydrangeas, shaded by olive trees. Every room has a sunny balcony with the same stunning view. Philippe welcomed us with a glass of port and was very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

A few loose boards on deck I nearly tripped on.

Det mest fantastiske lille familie hotel, med en suveræn beliggenhed. Lige fra vi blev budt velkommen med et glas portvin, til vi fortsatte vores tur, fik vi hvad der kun kan beskrives som VIP behandling. Alt fra den kaffe og kage der altid stod til rådighed, til anbefaling af små vingårde med mere personlig betjening var Ines og Philippe de perfekte værter. Det er svært at finde et spabad eller en pool med bedre udsigt! Skal vi tilbage til Douro dalen, er der slet ikke tvivl om hvor vi skal være.

Notre séjour a été fantastique à tous les niveaux! En tout premier lieu l'accueil chaleureux de Philippe et la démonstration de tout ce qu'il offrait comme service et comme emplacement sortait d'un service normal....c'est un cadre familial et intime!...et..on aime! La qualité des lieux....la piscine à débordement avec la vue sur le Douro , les petites galeries....tout ça est tout simplement un gros wow!!!!!🎉 La disponibilité de l'hôte, les suggestions complètement adéquates à nos besoins.... C'est un domaine charmant...je recommande fortement cet endroit....c'est à voir et à couper le souffle!!!! Merci pour tout et j'achète cet endroit!😜😉

Filipe regularly took time out of his day to attend to all the guests, even driving me in his own car a couple of times and always arranging local taxis and activities for all guests. The view is better than the pictures could ever capture. It's so quiet and comfortable and I would love to stay again!
