One of a kind. Magical views, amazing hospitality, very chique property. Jacuzzi can be used all year long, even the pool was not that cold in May (at least for a short dip to wake up in the morning).

From the moment we arrived, we felt like special guests. Felipe met us out front, invited us in with a glass of port, gave us a tour of the property and showed us to our room. The property overlooks the Douro river with gorgeous views, exceeded only by the excellent service of Felipe and the rest of the staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were provided with bottled water, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The included continental breakfast featured a variety of pastries, fruits, eggs, grains, juice, and coffee. There were also snacks and coffee available any time of the day. Pool/spa towels were provided and while it was a little too chilly to use the pool, we enjoyed the spa and its amazing views. Throughout the property, there were many cozy spots to just sit and take in the view or enjoy intimate conversation, from bistro tables out front to hammocks and lounge chairs by the pool. We also had access to stroll through the vineyards. There's onsite parking and the property is right off the main road (IC26) between Mesão Frio (about 5 min. drive) and Peso da Régua (about 15 min. drive), so we felt comfortable driving back at night. Felipe gave us a number of activity and restaurant recommendations with contact information so we didn't have to search. We enjoyed dinner at Tasca do Zequinha, (delicious traditional Portuguese food). We went to Lamego and Ucanha and took Felipe's recommendation for lunch at Tasquinha do Matias. Felipe has a wealth of knowledge and answered all our questions. The staff provided quick responses to our inquiries and always smiled and greeted us whenever our paths crossed. We loved our stay at Imaginario D'El Rei and would stay here again. We highly recommend this lovely guesthouse!

מקום מקסים בעל הבית היה סופר נחמד. אוהב ישראלים הביא לנו כל בוקר צלחת מלאה בירקות רק בגלל שאנחנו ישראלים. ממש ממליץ בחום על הנקום. מקום ממש יפה.

O quarto tinha uma vista surpreendente e maravilhosa, limpeza, localização, gentileza, estrutura, sofisticação, organização… tudo maravilhoso

Se eu tivesse que apontar algo, seria somente o tamanho do box do banheiro, mas já soube que é padrão em Portugal o box ser pequeno, mas isso não seria um problema ou impedimento!
