Merta Beach Bungalow by Bukit Vista

Frühstück war nicht möglich, da es erst nach 7u Uhr Frühstück gab, dass man vorbestellen muss. Da wir schon mehrmals diese Erfahrung gemacht haben, und dieses Risiko eingegangen sind, wissen wir, dass es nicht reicht um pünktlich in der Tauchschule zu sein. Sind jeden Tag in die Secrets Bakery, die sehr guten Kaffe macht, aber auch nicht schnell arbeiten :-)

Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist sensationell, mit Blick auf Mount Agung könnte es fast nicht schöner sein. Die Matratzen sind leider in der oberen Hälfte sehr schmutzig und die Spannbettlacken sind am morgen nicht mehr gespannt, so dass man die schmutzige Matratze sehr gut sehen kann. Es ist aber ein bequemes Bett. Das Bad ist okey und dient seinem Zweck, schick ist aber anders. Kommunikation war eher schwierig. Sie haben uns erwartet und ein Indonesischer Freund hatte dann organsiert, dass Motorräder bereit stehen. Dies hat geklappt. Mail zum checki-n und ob noch offene Fragen zum klären sind, habe ich einen Tag vor der Abreise gekriegt. Wir sind aber super happy von der Insel abgereist und kommen bestimmt wieder. Ob es das Merta Beach wieder wird werden wir sehen :-)

Het uitzicht op de zee vanuit het verblijf is prachtig. En het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De douche werd vrij snel koud. Daarnaast verbleven we meerdere nachten en werd het verblijf tussendoor niet schoongemaakt en we kregen ook geen schone handdoeken. Dit was het duurste verblijf voor ons tot nu toe met de minste service wat dat betreft.

Good location, close to good food and nightlife nearby with live music etc. Staff were friendly. Scooter hire through property. Great location for exploring the island. Nice outlook.

Could do with servicing the room when staying more than a single night, and possibly a bed linen upgrade.

I would like to praise Mr Kedak for all the help he provided during my family’s stay at Merta Beach Bunglow. He is one of the most amazing person I have met till date. Thank you Mr. Kedak ! 🙏🏻

Great view of sea and mount Agung just in front of the room. The hotel staff were very friendly and helped us book cab for our tour for a reasonable price and drop off at port. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The overall look of the property is awesome. It is located in a quite area not very far from port. Most importantly, they had three pin socket to connect Indian type of chargers in the room.

Room was dimly lit. While I understand that it is meant to be romantic, there is no harm in providing additional lights. We can turn them on when needed. The lights were so insufficient that it was very difficult to pack our things in bag or to search things. From nowhere a centipede fell on me while having bath. Thankfully, it did not bite me and I waited for sometime for it to hide at some corner. While centipede bites are not dangerous to life, they can cause a pain, swelling and redness at spot of bite. They have a good queen sized bed, but a king sized would have been even better.

The location is amazing, right on the beach and the outdoor space to sit in was great! Room was clean and quite tidy. For the price would definitely stay again. Staff were really helpful.
