Horror house with horror hygiene and horror service. We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend. What we got instead: disgust, frustration, and a sleepless night. We left exhausted and stressed. The room? An absolute disgrace: The bed It was clearly not freshly made – full of hair, makeup stains on the pillow, mysterious spots on the blanket, and a strong body odor from a previous guest. Completely unacceptable. The towels Stained. When we pointed this out, the receptionist casually said: “Those don’t come out in the wash.” Our suggestion: Buy new ones. The rest Dirty windows, stained curtains, broken mirror, rusted bathroom lamp. A leaking water pipe covered with a plastic bag. And on the wall: a dark smear that looked like someone had smashed a spider there. And the best part? At check-out, we were blamed for not complaining earlier. Sorry – but the front desk is only staffed until 3 PM. What exactly are guests supposed to do at 1 AM, standing in the middle of a filthy room? Shifting the blame to paying guests instead of taking responsibility is outrageous. Here’s an idea: For 150 € per night, provide a clean room and train your cleaning staff properly – instead of lecturing the people who trusted you with their weekend. This room wasn’t even worth 50 €. Never again.

Quiet hotel with a great continental breakfast. Rooms were very comfortable, spacious and clean. It is situated in a small village on the outskirts of Überlingen and we used our car to get there as its not that close to the town centre. There is a bus service to the village. Good value.
