Spacious and lit up rooms. Easy check in

We had actually booked for family room and we were given a single room. The shower was clogged, hair dryer is there in the restroom but you cant really use it as the plug is far away from the fixed dryer. There were hair spilled in the room which was very unpleasing. We had booked our stay for 2 nights but the poor cleanliness made us leave the next morning itself.

Spacious, clean & well maintained, great location (if you have a car), nice facilities, great water pressure, etc. Had a great time staying here for a family wedding down past Überlingen. If it snows while you are here you’re in for an amazing trip.

Nothing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Communication around check-in/check-out was easy and we were able to access the hotel and rooms even though we arrived later in the evening.

We probably should have done more research on the town, but there did not seem to be any food options there outside of a cheese vending machine (kind of cool, but still...). To his credit, the hotel manager did send a message letting us know to eat before we got to the village when he sent the access codes that day. I think we were the only people staying in the hotel, and we never saw the manager in person, so there was no one around to ask about anything.

The breakfast was vey good and nicely presented . Other than that there is not. a lot to recommend this place

on arrival after driving all day and very tired ,we were unable to get in . We tried and tried the code on a box to get a key , which wouldn’t work .The e mail instructions were very vague. We eventually gave up and tracked down the owner who seemed cranky that we disturbed him at 4pm . The lock on the bedroom door was a problem also . There was nowhere nearby to get dinner . We had to drive several miles to find decent food . There was no mat in the bathroom , the liquid soap was empty . I would not recommend this hotel . The owner was somewhat more friendly at breakfast .Looked to me like he was doing his best .

Silent, quiet place not far from the main road, quick and easy check-in through code box. Good breakfast, very clean environment. Very nice "Waldgasthof" (Haldenhof) cca 3 km with stunning lakeview. On the negative side: The compulsory Bodensee-card (2-3 EUR/pers.) was not communicated in advance.
