"Excellent! No complaints at all"

We liked everything. This is a truly dog friendly establishment, very important to us. We loved our room overlooking the sea and prom. It was lovely to hear the sea crashing against the shore as we woke up. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We loved his dog, Boris!

Nothing really. We did have difficulty parking on Saturday night and ended up a 20-minute walk away but that's to be expected in the summer.

"The Royal Hotel in Eastbourne"

A wanted a low budget clean seaview room just for the very basic: sleeping take a shower change my clothes keeping my stuff and spending as much time as I can outside. It was perfect for that. The key card activated the electricity in my room, I like it. From the second floor single room, the seaview, was excellent. Great location.

Breakfast was good. Nothing was too much to ask for. A bit too noisy for us for location. Sea view was great. Eddie was a great host

- personal touch - the owner puts his heart and soul into his hotel and it really shows - The owner of this hotel takes the comfort and well-being of his guests really seriously. A rarity nowadays! - directly at the beach - view of the beach (if you book accordingly)

Location is excellent being on the seafront and having a nice view of the pier not far away. We did not partake of breakfast but I'm sure it would have been very good indeed! The rooms and hallways had some nice, and well chosen pieces of furniture and art work which gave each room a personal touch. Parking is available with vouchers to use in most pay and display bays in the seafront area.

Very happy in all regards.

"Exceptional"

Needed an emergency stay in Eastbourne and this hotel and host were perfect. Falling asleep listening to the sound of the waves certainly helped me during a very stressful time. Thank you!
