De locatie is vlakbij het immigratiekantoor. Het ligt in een zeer rustige woonwijk midden in de stad. Een prachtige nieuwe kamer. Uiterst schoon en comfortabel. Een warm welkom door de gastheer.

A nice, classic Sri Lankan home in a very quiet neighborhood. My room was large, well-furnished, and comfortable with great AC and plenty of hot water. It’s an easy 15-minute walk to the Visa Extension Office, all at a very reasonable price. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Super Unterkunft, lieber Gastgeber, Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber. Perfekte Lage, wenn man sein Visum verlängern muss - nur 15min fußläufig entfernt :)

Location excellent for getting a visa extension nearby and to a few nice places nearby like wetlands. The man was kind. And it was a safe, quiet neighbourhood.

A few bugs in the bathroom, the bathroom was quite dirty.

I stayed in a brand new room. The bed was really big, which I like, because I am 6'4 (196cm). It's a simple and effective room with a clean bathroom and a warm shower. Also the room is big and private. You don't really hear your neighbours. Only the upstairs neighbours when they are walking up the stairs, but for the rest it is very well isolated. The room and the bathroom are very convenient, clean and usable. There are plates, some cups and a boiler. Airco, fan, a cupboard and something to hang the towel on. I booked an extra night, which shows that I was happy staying there. What more does one need?! 🌞

The gate closes at 10pm, which feels like a restriction on your free time. There are funny Lankan things, like a plastic tap that is not fixed properly to the sink; the ceiling fan has a hole next to it in the ceiling; the plastic of the aluminium still on the door; the aircon shaking against the wall (which I fixed); the showerhead wall connector hanging loose. It's like they forgot about the finishing touch of the room. But honestly, this is Sri Lanka, and I can laugh about it. With just an hour of work they could make it perfect.

It is centrally positioned to all places and easy access to shops. Well secured place

Main house is untidy where we stayed the first night, bathroom entrance was through a wardrobe, room was smelling. Photos displayed on the website were not exactly correct. However, the next day we asked for a better room and we were offed a studio type room (not in the main house) for a higher rate and it was clean and tidy. I would suggest that every room to be equipped with a electric kettle, cups, drinking glasses

The manager was friendly and considerate. The room was well maintained and clean.

The wifi was a bit unstable but I talked with the manager and he says he will improve it which was nice.

Das mir nach mehrmaligem Anfragen doch noch ein anderes Zimmer gegeben wurde, nachdem mir ein gräßliches Zimmer gezeigt wurde, das nicht ansatzweise dem Zimmer entsprach, daß ich gebucht hatte.

Es wurde mir ein dunkles Zimmer mit einem ziehmlich versifften Bad ( der Duschvorhang völlig versifft und mit schwarzem Schimmel versehen), dazu der Wasserhahn zum Aufdrehen der Dusche so hoch oben, daß ich dazu jedesmal einen Stuhl benötigt hätte, gezeigt. Die kleine Terrasse, umgeben von hohen Mauern, mit Blick auf eine Müllhalde. Mein anfänglicher Einwand, das ich das Zimmer nicht gebucht habe wurde anfangs damit abgetan daß kein anderes frei sei. Nach ewigem hin und her war dann plötzlich doch noch ein anderes Zimmer frei. Zwar auch nicht das gebuchte im 1. Stock aber besser als das gezeigte.
