Disblair House

This was our second stay this year (see previous review in July). We were welcomed as if we were part of the family returning home! It was a chilly evening when we arrived, and we very much appreciated that Karolyn had turned on the electric blanket on our bed. We slept like logs. As before, the breakfasts were exceptional. Chris and Karolyn are fantastic hosts, not intrusive but genuinely interested in our plans, which we welcomed and took advice from. They couldn’t do enough for us. On our departure we were stopped by a family of Roe deer on the driveway, who had taken time out to wave us goodbye, which was fantastic to see! Needless to say, we have booked again for next year and very much looking forward to it.

Nothing

I could not rate this small hotel/B+B any higher. It is wonderful. The owners are lovely. The house and grounds beautiful. The food excellent.

The hosts are very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was fabulous definitely something to suit everyone. Big comfortable bed.

There was nothing not to like.

Loved the house and all it's features. So peaceful great night sleep and amazing selection of breakfast hot and continental. Friendly hosts will definitely be back a fabulous gem

Hosts were attentive and friendly but not obtrusive. Great breakfast, nice room. Not the easiest place to find at night, but findable!

A lovely stay at Disblair House. Owners were so welcoming and real attention to detail in the facilities provided. Breakfast was exceptional - lovely food and fantastic service. A lovely part of the countryside too.

Chris and Karoline are a wonderful, warm, welcoming couple who have gone the extra mile with everything -rooms heated, bathroom spotless, breakfast amazing. Wish I could have stayed longer.
