The no pork breakfast

The owner of the place is unprofessional I stood for about 30 min at the gate at night before being assisted. It was very cold, I called several times without the phone being answered, the mattress was old, I got a message that my room uses more electricity... Just because the cleaners saw a microwave in my luggage, a microwave that I never used... Just happened to be traveling with it because I was taking it home😏. The other guests were banging doors and making noise at night. I checked out Friday and received my receipt on Tuesday after several calls again.🙄😏😏

Lack of Sports Channels on TV and have to share the fridge in the dinning Hall.

My experience at this guesthouse was disappointing from the start. The owner and staff were notably unfriendly and demonstrated poor communication skills Additional issues included: • Loose fixtures (e.g., taps) • Floor mattress for a 6 year old child was an old, deteriorated 10cm thin width, with a significant hollow in the middle and we were charged an additional R120 for this • The linens were stained and had holes, and the room had a damp and stale odor. • Peeling paint on walls • Rust stains • Outdated furniture and appliances • Hard towels • Grimy and moldy shower floors • Insufficient toilet paper (only one used roll provided) • Old and stained floor tiles • A kitchen with only two plates and no milk • Lack of security cameras or on-site security • A faulty air conditioner with non-functional heat settings, leading to an uncomfortable, cold night We had a particularly distressing incident when my 75-year-old mother fell into the swimming pool. There were no covers, fences, or caution signs around the pool, which is located very close to the room door. She nearly drowned, and my husband had to rescue her. With no staff available after 7pm, we rushed her to the hospital at 11pm and returned at 3am. I informed the owner of the incident and requested a late check-out, considering my mother was sedated and under medication. The owner responded with a NO as the rooms needs to be serviced on time. As a result, we had to carry my mother, still asleep, to the vehicle at 10am. The owner's response was uncompassionate and showed a lack of consideration for our situation. There was no attempt to accommodate us or show any empathy. She was only concerned about the room readiness instead of a human that almost drowned at her establishment. She made no connection the days preceding just to enquire about our experience or my mums condition.
