Breakfast was okay but the rushed is to finish and leave when the time for breakfast was over and are very rude about it

Firstly, i would like to mention that leaving long reviews have never been something iv done. That been said, I believe i have to do it now, because I wish I had read 1 of these before making my booking. On the booking.com website, I had booked a stay from 4th to 8th April 2025 and requested an extra bed(As the option allowed to do so) I arrived abit later than expected due to a truck accident delay on the roads. After the staff showed me to my room, the first thing I noticed was there was no extra bed for my Daughter. I asked the staff, to which they were going to ask the Owner/Manager as they were not sure. The owner/manager's name was Zahra I believe. An extremely inconsiderate lady. She came back and said there was nothing on her side. After sending her a picture of my phone with the request for the extra bed. She then says, I need to pay an extra R600(R150 per night)for the duration of our stay for the extra bed. A Dirty, 30cm thin, dilapidated floor mattress arrives to the room. I refused to accept for my Daughter to sleep on it, as it was not suitable for even my pets. The Owner/Manager then immediately sent some communication to booking.com, that we are not following their policies. Quick summary - I made a booking and requested a extra BED. No bed in the room on arrival, then a matress not suitable to be a door mat arrives, and I refuse it, is not following policies? We were exhausted from the long trip, so to end this long day. I paid the R600 but did not accept the floor mattress.This was only the beginning of the nightmare. We had booked room 8(Pool side view room). The condition of the room was appalling. The room was filthy, multiple stains and dirt that has not been touched for many months, if ever. Walls and floors have major cracks indicating structural damage(major concern). Spider weds everywhere, damp and wet walls with paint bubbling and peeling off.

What was advertised was different from what we selected. We had hoped to receive a family room but ended up getting two separate single rooms. When we enquired we were told to rebook. Very disappointed

Very helpfull and friendly staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean room and bathroom.

The space, the room is very spacious.
