College Lodge

I had a very nice stay, the place is so clean and the stuff is very friendly. I loved the lodge it’s so beutiful and close to everything important that i needed to use as a first time visitor in Bloemfontein i did not struggle to navigate through. The only thing that suprised me was having to buy drinking water from the lodge because usually in the room one finds a tea station and some few bottles of drinking water. It would be advisable for the lodge to just add a little ammount into the cost of staying for drinking water and put it in the room for guest consideration how hot Bloemfontein gets. But overall i have no complaints i really enjoyed my stay.

We attended a wedding and there were a lot of people booked at College Lodge. Upon arrival, we were directed to our room, which upon presentation seemed a hundred percent. However, we were four booked in, but only 2 towels were laid out and 3 mugs and glasses. Upon asking reception, which was the security guard, he first couldn't find any and eventually took some from another room upon my insistence. We had breakfast the following morning and although there is a decent spread, unfortunately the fried chips served are ice cold and not fresh. On the Sunday morning, we considered also having breakfast there, but the dining room, which is tiny, could not cater for everyone and we left the premises to have breakfast elsewhere.

Rooms are old and in desperate need of a revamp. Rooms close to the breakfast area are noisy with kitchen staff preparing breakfast, early morning. Showers old with very little water pressure.

I really enjoyed must stay! Was there for 3 nights. Geonell was great! Very welcoming, pleasant, friendly and went out her way to make me feel welcome! The rooms were clean, refreshments were plentiful and the breakfasts were awesome and always different each morning. I would highly recommend College Lodge.

The water from the shower was not warm enough the first night of my stay but throughout my stay it stayed hot enough. The staff was friendly and the lady who welcomed me took time to show me around well for anything I may need.The security gentleman were very polite and made me feel safe with the parking at night. 👌🏾

Exceptional stay. Rooms very neat and clean - even a Kitkat on the bed! Breakfast was much more than expected - thank you.

We were travelling from Cape Town to Durban and booked College Lodge. It was such a nice guest house. The unit was extremely neat,beddings were fresh and the staff was very friendly. The location is great safe and so close to shopping malls and the highway. Definitely booking here again!!!!

It was perfect for what we needed it for. Quaint and lovely The room was comfortable and had an overall good experience. It's nice and close to everything.
