The peaceful and unique design of this treetop apartment was complemented by the two most helpful hosts we’ve encountered. Thank you for the complimentary milk, fruit and bread. Every morning, the breathtaking view of the lake would start the day off beautifully, and the stunning stars at night were a sight to behold. We didn’t want to cook, so not having a kitchen wasn’t an issue. The kettle , microwave and toaster were sufficient. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The stairs up to the apartment were not lit at night.

We loved everything! Only 20 min scenic drive from Rotorua, so peaceful, spectacular views, wonderful architecture and decor, friendly hosts

There are quite a few steep steps, to be expected in a “tree nest”, suggest packing a small bag and leaving heavy suitcases in the car
