Niall ist der beste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Das Zimmer ist ungewöhnlich gross und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück im Troutfly war wie immer großartig wir kommen gern wieder.

An unserem Aufenthalt gab es nichts auszusetzen.

Wonderful location, clean, comfortable accommodation. There was a fridge in the room, and dishes/cutlery supplied. Sitting eating breakfast or dinner looking out over the bay was lovely. Excellent host.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Betten ausgezeichnet, die Aussicht vom Zimmer in die Bucht von Port Ellen herrlich, das optionale Frühstück sollte man unbedingt mitbuchen, Kaffee zum Frühstück der Beste auf der Insel Islay Auf dem Zimmer ist Essgeschirr und Besteck, da in Port Ellen wenig Restaurants sind, aber mehrere Take Aways

Wir können nichts negatives zur Unterkunft sagen. Einzig das Leitungswasser sollte man nicht zum Kaffee/Tee aufbrühen verwenden, da es gechlort ist. Der Kaffee schmecktt damit scheußlich.

Exellent located if you are travelling by ferry to Port Ellen. From front door to terminal is a 5 minute walk. Lovely view over the beach and harbour and very convenient for the local co-op, several bars and places to eat. If you are a foot passenger, the island bus stops around the corner. You can also stride out along the distillery path to Laphraoig, Lagavulin and Ardberg. Our room had all the facilities we needed for a 2-day stay if you plan to eat out: twin room, ensuite shower bathroom, TV, fridge, tea and coffee facilities. And it was spotlessly clean. Important note: book distillery tours well in advance and plan and book restaurants before you arrive on the island.

Wi-fi was patchy but so is the mobile signal on the island.

The refrigerator was a bit noisy, so I turned it off. It wasn't too bad.

Sehr sauber und grosszügig. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen.

Es gibt gar nichts zu bemängeln.
