Tussock Cottage

Over our ten week trip in New Zealand, this beautiful cottage ticked all our boxes in a way that no other has. From the warm genuine first meeting to the beautiful serene garden setting, it was fabulous. The cottage itself is generous in size, has great ambience and includes many small thoughtful touches.

Great location right next to Lake Hayes. Complimentary mountain bikes were very much appreciated.

Very private, gorgeous accommodation. Having push bikes was perfect. An art filled area, very close to Ayrburn restaurants. We feel privileged to have met Lee, a very talented Artist, and down to earth lovely person.

Everything was perfect

This is a wonderful place to stay. Avoid the hustle and bustle of Queenstown and stay 7 minutes ours Arrowtown. The hosts are amazing and the bungalow is everything you could ask for.

No complaints at all.

Great location. Close to Arrowtown and Ayrburn. Spacious and comfortable. Our host was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Lovely view of the lake and a nice walk to the lake. Fresh eggs from host were delicious and our host’s art was beautiful. Our best stay in New Zealand.

The hosts were friendly and made an effort to meet us and make us feel welcome.

We should have reserved for a longer stay!
