Our host was an exceptional jolly & and a Hepful person , he helped us in deciding our itinerary and what to do. He helped us even more by extending his help to drop us by his car to Rovaniemi, which saved us the whole day .thank you so much...

Kitchen with whole equipment, sauna

Location was okay. 30 mins from center, shops. Close to the lake, close to hiking areas. Host was exceptionally kind and helping. Clean location, equipped kitchen, private sauna booking.

TaloYlläs is everything that I am looking for in an accomodation in Lapland. It’s cozy, authentic and hosted by friendly people. It has a sauna, ski waxing facilities and direct access to cx ski tracks.

the walls are pretty thin, so I recommend ear plugs for light sleepers ☺️

The place was in a nice location. The roommates were nice. And even though there were a lot of people, the place was quiet.

Sometimes common areas were booked so it took a while until we could cook or go to the sauna.

A very nice place to stay. Sharing the house with 3 other rooms was much easier than I expected and it was nice to talk to some other skiers. Easy walking distance from the airport bus, and to the tracks. Great starting point for tours on the N side of the lake. Nice room, comfortable bed. The former farm is in a quiet location, and we could view the Northern lights from our bedroom window. Joni was very helpful and friendly, and collected our order from the supermarket before we arrived. His English is excellent. Due to the flight options from Edinburgh we could not start our holiday on a Saturday, and this is one of the few places that allows this in March.

(minor minuses, so the frowny face is not really appropriate!) The kitchen/sitting room is quite small, and could do with some more drinking glasses. But it all worked out! The showers are part of the sauna so sometimes I had to wait a bit until I could take a shower after skiing, but the timeslot booking system worked and there usually was enough flexibility to grab a quick shower inbetween sauna sessions. It is some distance from the shop, but with the provided kicksledge it wasn't too long a trip.
