Peaceful place. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Even loaned me an umbrella when it looked like rain! Two bottles of water a day also very good.

Nothing walkable close by. Toilet seat a little wonky.

An oasis in the middle of the city. close to local facilities, cafe on site. Comfortable bed. Great surroundings

Cafe staff refused to serve coffee at 8.45 whilst playing with their phone, saying they opened at 9am. I'm self employed, own a cafe and if a customer comes in we are open.

This pet friendly homestay is ideal if you're in transit for a day or two and want to avoid the stress, chaos, and mayhem of Bangkok. Depending on traffic, it's only 15-20 minutes by car (taxi fare is about 250THB....though use the meter from the airport and keep track of the journey using a navigation app.). It's just far enough away from Suvarnabhumi Airport to be away from the aeroplane noises. The trade-off is that there isn't much to do nearby, without transport. NB: A 7/11 convenience store is only a 10 minute walk if you use the shortcut, and there's a great local street food restaurant in the carpark providing cheap and delicious food. (This is a much better alternative to the cafe at Ban Ing Suan....which I found a bit disappointing and more expensive.) Ban Ing Suan homestay provides comfortable and fully equipped bungalow style accommodation with private balconies (with table and chairs setting) overlooking the lovely and large fish pond. My room had a nice double bed (not too soft and not too far, just a little low to the ground), a good air-conditioner (plus a pedestal fan), a small refrigerator, a flatscreen TV (with Netflix app available), a small chest of drawers, a sitting chair and a private, wet style bathroom (though a shower curtain separates the shower from the toilet). WiFi is freely available, and daily housekeeping is provided too. The many lovely gardens and ponds within the grounds are a little oasis from the rest of the nearby area with the road leading off the main highway being a bit rough with ongoing and unfinished construction still apparent (the section near Ban Ing Suan is fully completed). Surrounding the large pond are many seating areas and a bamboo bridge leading over to the cafe, which is situated roadside. Noteworthy is that the cafe is not open late and closes around 6pm. The owners and staff of the homestay are like most Thai people, very friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
