Walking into a building site. Room was like a prison cell and smell was horrid, couldn’t have stayed one nite. Straight to book somewhere else and left.

I can easily recommend Cemara. The guesthouse was nice. Staff were kind & helpful. Beds were comfy. The price is reasonable. The location is beachfront with a well-kept garden & pool. Within walking distance from several eateries & mini marts. Scooter rental available on site. They also conveniently offer boat transfer from Sanur, Bali & taxi to guesthouse from Penida Harbor, which made our life easier. We enjoyed our stay & appreciated the family for all their help & guidance. Suksuma 🙏

At the beginning there was a stale/humid smell due to lack of air ventilation. I hope the cleaning staff is better with dusting. Would be nice if some outdoor space was available for 'non-smoking'. Everything else was good.

It’s a beautiful place with a cute pool, the view is amazing especially when the sea grown. The people from the hotel is lovely and everything is easy there. We rent the scooter with them super cheap price, it was close to some nice places, 3 minutes from “The Chill” (you must to go) 20 minutes from the concurred areas and the manta rays tour (you must to do too). They keep our luggage for hours the last the while we were in the Famous Rock. I really recommend this place.

Near the sea, had a nice sea view, quite cheap, had an ac.

Very bad smell in the room, it comes from the toilet, black mould on walls. Tap water was a bit salty and weird. Staying here was like in dormitory, because there were plenty of kids screaming, next day were plenty of Indians was quite noisy in the morning.
