Cemara Beachfront Nusa Penida

We loved our stay here! We spent the first 2 nights in the main building but moved to the little ocean front villa for the last 5 days. We loved the views of the ocean & mountain. The breakfast was made to order & delicious. The family that works here is so friendly & helpful, always smiling!! The thing we loved the most was the amazing snorkeling right in front of the resort. You have to be a good swimmer because you have to get out beyond the breaking waves. Once you get out far enough you will see turtles, vibrant healthy coral & tons of beautiful fish. We had a scooter during our stay so we were able to explore beautiful Nusa Penida & we loved every minute of it.

No hot water but that didn’t bother us

The outside areas were generally well kept and nice, with a great view looking out to the sea. If you're looking for an affordable option and don’t mind a subpar room, I would recommend it. They also provide scooter rental for 80k a day which is nice but the scooters have definitely seen better days. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were pretty bad and smelt awful when we first walked in, but a member of staff provided us with some smelling spray. It has a very outdated interior. With that being said, you are paying a very affordable price, so you could argue this is fair.

Nice place, beautiful view, lovely staff, great value

Amazing beach views from our room. Staff was helpful and accommodative. House was clean but the facilities were a little old and bathroom lock was broken. Overall a very good stay in a very affordable price.

Lovely little spot, located on the beach front, people that work there are incredible. Be aware that this is not 5 star, but it is a very nice little spot to stay.
