Languedoc

We had a lovely five-night stay at Owl Cottage in Stellenbosch. We really enjoyed the peaceful nature and beautiful garden, and the house was comfortable and nicely decorated. It felt welcoming and relaxing—an ideal place to unwind. We would happily stay here again.

we were met By Diana the host, who was lovely. the apartment was in a beautiful English garden setting and lovely to walk around. we would should have stayed longer, as it was a lovely area. we had lunch at the "Klien Alto" vineyard which was amazing and really good value.. about 30mins from Languedoc. being dog lovers we had a lovely welcome from Dianas two dogs. we loved this property and would definitely stay again...

you would have to drive to get to any restaurants, but having a car, this was not really an issue..

Sehr ruhig gelegen.

Die Lage war gut zum biken und nah bei Stellenbosch. Privatsphäre.

Das Bett war zu klein für 2 Erwachsene, auch war die Matratze sehr weich und schon in die Jahre gekommen. In der Küche waren die Schubladen nicht sauber und unter der Spüle waren tote Käfer und auch nicht sauber.

Härligt boende i lantlig miljö och nära till många fina vingårdar/restauranter. Också nära till fina vandringsleder i bergen/naturreservat. Egen parkering alldeles intill boendet o mysig liten uteplats. Trevlig o tillmötesgående värdinna.

Två mycket stora hundar som sprang omkring okontrollerat på egendomen. Skrämmande för mig som har en viss hundrädsla.

Amazing relaxing stay with gorgeous surroundings, loved the hot tub and the fire pit for brai’s! Bed very comfortable, bathroom very clean, lovely couch to sit on. Could have stayed for weeks. Thanks!

Beautiful location surrounded by trees and flowers on a doorstep to some excellent wine estates and Stellenbosch town. Diana is a perfect host, super friendly and attentive. The bed was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. We loved relaxing on the verandah listening to birdsong and being greeted by a pair of uber cute Ridgebacks. There is a great shopping centre nearby in Jamestown and Diana recommended a lot of interesting places to us. Honestly, we didn't want to leave! :)
