Languedoc

An interesting format of staying on a farm with horses and other forest animals. A wonderful and friendly hostess and her loyal and reliable four-legged friends! Diana had a bottle of wine for us to enjoy that evening, and she was a very hospitable and pleasant woman! We spent two wonderful and romantic evenings in nature, sitting on a sun lounger outside our room.

Our cheese was eaten by the older dog one evening, but we weren't upset at all, we even laughed. The next evening they were more attentive and only drank wine on the street)

Beautiful little cabin in the middle of nature. Peaceful, spotless, perfect. Best sleep i’ve had in a while. Lovely to wake up and see horses roaming about.

L’accueil, la maîtresse des lieux nous a même donné ce qu’il fallait pour se faire un brasero le soir.

Rien, seule chose à savoir, c’est que ce n’est pas dans un domaine viticole comme l’on pourrait s’imaginer en venant à Stellenbosch

Fabulous space in the Owl Cabin. Very quiet surroundings on a horse farm, private access. Comfortable king-size bed, outdoor seating, washing machine, TV. Close to Stellenbosch and great vineyards. Restaurant Mont Marie is a 2-minute drive across the road. The owner, Di, lives on the farm and is very kind and responsive.

We would happily return! A small point would be cleaning up the outdoor space from dried leaves etc., but honestly not a big deal.

Peaceful. A slice of tranquility, away from the bustle of town but close enough to enjoy good restaurants and activities.

Beautiful venue and picturesque. Very comfortable stay. Really friendly - made us feel very welcoming.
