Casa Del Porto

Fabulous. It is rare to find a hotel exactly as represented in pictures. And then even better. We stayed in the Green Room. View overlooking the harbor was unmatched by any other options we came across after spending 5 nights and walking old town. THE BALCONY IS AMAZING. Excellent and kind owner and Helen who checked us in and out was so cheerful and accommodating. Cannot recommend more. I’m just surprised (albeit it being still a bit off season) it was not booked up. If in doubt, do!!!

Loved the location of the apartment, staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the chocolates in the foyer, didn’t like the stairs up to the apartment!

Our room (the Green Room) was in the center of Old Town Chania with a fantastic balcony view of the harbor. The location was right in the center of many restaurants, bars and shops. Boat excursions were available directly in front of our location. The room was equipped with a kitchenette, coffee machine, refrigerator, and a multi tier-shower. At night, you can expect some noise from the bars but we still managed to sleep, even with the doors open. If noise is an issue, the rooms are equipped with additional shutters which I was informed would significantly reduce any outside noise. But most of all Konstantina and her staff were fantastic. Since the facility only had three suites it was impractical to have a 24/7 receptionist, however Konstantina was in constant communication with us as to when we would be checking in to assure that someone would be present to greet us and handle our luggage. During our stay she even called us to see how we were doing and whether we needed anything. At the end of our stay she was there to see us off and secured us transportation to our next stop. Since car access is not allowed in front of the facility, one of the staff, Elena escorted us to our cab which was a block away. Made for a perfect stay!

Great location, gorgeous room with really good amenities including kitchenette, coffee machine and fridge! The staff were so lovely and stayed back past check in time for us because our ferry was so late! We really appreciated this because we’d had a very long day of travelling and it was so nice to reach our destination and be welcomed by lovely staff! They also stayed to give us some great restaurant recommendations! Couldn’t recommend this more it made our stay in lovely Chania so great!

Everything was perfect.

Excellent location right in the heart of the old harbour above bars and restaurants. Initially we were concerned about the noise levels as very lively at night however the double glazing really worked and we had good nights sleep every night. The balcony had a great view of the harbour and all the street artists performing - excellent atmosphere day and night!

Nothing really - we were very happy with the room, the location and the very friendly owner and team.

Excellent position on the port and right in the centre,walking distance to all shops, restaurants and bars. Amazing view of the main square in the port and close to all boat excursions. The room was super comfortable especially the bed. The owner, Konstantina and all her staff made sure we arrived safely, checked in on us and was willing to help us with any problem we had

Loved the location! Loved the rooms they were immaculate! Loved the terrace!

Didn’t like how loud the clubs next door could be, we had a sound machine and it helped a lot! The sound in the hotel lobby you could hear from the room but it wasn’t too bad.
