Lovely, comfortable, spacious house in peaceful location. The owner made sure we had everything we needed and we appreciated the extra touches like fresh flowers and continental breakfast and chocolates provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. It exceeded our expectations and was a perfect, relaxing stay.

All was great nothing we didn’t like

Großes und sehr sauberes Appartement, alles noch sehr neu. Die Besitzer haben sich viel Mühe mit den Details und der Dekoration gegeben. Alles ist genau wie auf den Foros. Bequemes Bett, in der Küche war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Wir wurden mit einem Korb mit Lebensmitteln und frischen Blumen in der Wohnung empfangen. Die reizende Gastgeberin Janette war immer ansprechbar und hat sogar nach zwei Tagen frische Handtücher gebracht und sauber gemacht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Trotz der Lage abseits des Ortes hört man bei offenem Fenster die nahe Straße. In der Dusche hätte eine zweite Trennwand verhindert, das Bad unter Wasser zu setzen

A very warming welcome from the owner. The location, property, cleanliness and comfort was second to none. The attention to detail was evident both in the cottages and the surroundings. An added bonus was the complimentary breakfast cereals, savouries and fruit. I was staying in the area for work so the fast wi-fi was a great help to me. My wife came with me to explore the surrounding areas whilst I was working. As the premises felt so comfortable and a home from home, she actually relaxed in the house and gardens during the day. This will now be our go to stay when in the Cumbria area.

Nothing could improve our experience. Our only disappointment was that we didn`t have time to experience the Cumbrian breakfast. This will definitely be addressed on our next visit.

Such a wonderful place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by Janette who quickly showed us around and made us feel very at home. The. apartment was so clean, comfy and well equipped. We even had fresh flowers. A Continental breakfast was left for us, also milk, tea, coffee , water, juice etc. Much appreciated. We had a relaxing time in lovely surroundings and will not look for anywhere else to stay. Our thanks to our hosts and we definitely recommend it.

Excellent little hidden gem. Was met with a friendly face and welcoming going beyond the standard. Beautiful setting and quiet location.
