Danys House at Tiki Bar and More

Tiki Bar is an awesome place to stay. The staff are amazing, it is right the heart of everything and still quiet. Would totally stay there again. The coffee and breakfast is amazing, so are the burgers.

Nothing I disliked here.

Location was good, lots of restaurants nearby.

Pool area didn’t look anything like the photos displayed on Bookjng.com. They said they’d had some work carried out a few months ago. Pool looked dirty and surrounding area just neglected. Didn’t see anyone use the pool during our 5-day stay.

Small, low key accomodation in an excellent location. Restaurant food was very good. Staff were very nice and helpful. Over all excellent value for money.

Was a little noisy at early at night from nearby bar, which didn’t go too late.

Accomodation was excellent and as described. The room was clean, the outdoor bathroom was a bonus and I could not fault the service and friendliness of the staff. Would highly recommend especially for the price.

The shower temperature was mostly cold, but this was not a huge issue given it was an outdoor bathroom and was quite hot outside. The rooms are cleaned once every two to three days, but this was again not an issue.

Good location near the beach. Many restaurants around the hotel. Can walk to the beach easily.

The garden is pretty. It was cheap.

We initially booked 2 rooms, one double and one twin. The double room was so damp and mouldy smelling, so bad that we couldn't stay in that one and ended up sharing the twin room. From 7am onwards you could hear some massage salon music in the room from next door. The property is on the main road and since there is no soundproofing, you can literally hear every vehicle going past the property and there are a lot. The bedroom itself is fine but the bathroom is very basic. There is sometimes warm water to shower(not hot) and sometimes not. The pool had a constant dust layer on the water :( It wasn't a comfortable experience here. If you stay at Tiki, you're probably better off with the bungalows. They looked newer and cute.

Great location …. Near lots of restaurants and bars and fabulous beach - busiest part of the island. Great property with so much potential …. Just needs more love and care and attention and it would be one of the top places to stay at!

Lots of things broken or dirty … the pool filter was not strong enough so the pool looked unclean. The curtains and mosquito net in the room needed to be washed /changed. The air con was struggling …. Felt like an absentee owner ?!?! - the bar / restaurant is very smart and very well run - just a shame the rooms did not have the same attention as they could be fabulous rather than just ok….
