Casa Amor Pto Morelos

Amazing location! Directly on the beach. No one around. It's a big house that stands alone. You have access to the kitchen. The nearest restaurant is about a 20 minute drive away down a very bumpy dirt road. I would want a car to stay here. Also there is limited electricity. And wi fi is so so. But if you like nature and peace from crowds then this is your place! We would stay again!

The location is spectacular!!! Impredictable in the wild… in middle of wealthy resorts!!! Only 40 mn from Cancun Airport.

For us, nothing… because we liked simplicity and this house - alone in the middle of the wild - a sort of spiritual experience: the house close to the ocean, the sound of waves and kindness of Edwin….a very good start for our trip in Yucatan.

We were honeymooners and he was so sweet, he prepared a special room for us. He was also very accommodating to a special request. It was waterfront location away for the bustle of town. Unfortunately 2 other couples were there who partied late into the night, played loud music that we could hear in the room until around midnight and were drinking and hollering late into the night so the stay was not the peaceful stay that we wanted.

The property is secluded and serene with direct access to the beach. There are stunning views. Edwin is a fantastic host who is always ready to help at a moment’s notice. We especially enjoyed his breakfasts in the morning.

It was further out of the way than expected.

It is situated in the most amazing part of this coastline. The beach has an endless vista from one direction to the other and the Caribbean Sea is spectacular. This is also where sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs…followed by the hatchlings making their way into the big Atlantic Ocean, just stunning. The rooms are simple, very homely and clean. With Edwin as your most accommodating host, it is a perfect destination!

We Loved Casa Amor!!! Everything was perfect: the beautiful and peaceful location, the delicious breakfast, and our host Edwin was very friendly and helpful!

It was so nice to be far away from town, it was peaceful with access to a very long private beach. The room was nice, comfy bed with large bathroom. The owner was so kind, always as accommodating as he could be. Took us and the other guests back to town on our check out day

There was no transport to the location. We asked a taxi from town who quoted 300 pesos. Half way there the taxi wouldn't go further because the road was rough. We had to walk the rest 20 mins The fan in the room did not work. Nights were hot

It can naturally be quite warm and humid at night

Very Hard to find, beds were so hard we woke up sore, keys to room very rusty,it looks very run down and dirty. Road to property caused us to get a flat tire with its deep ruts and jagged rocks and was very unmaintained. Our clean car was very muddied and like we were off roading after our stay. No electricity until 8pm - 1:45 am we’re left in pitch black darkness at night during waking hours. Description of property on Booking.com was sorely not accurate. Would never have stayed here if I knew of these conditions before hand. We are so sad about spending our vacation here and forced to endure what I mentioned above. Samantha Martel
