Casa Amor Pto Morelos

Casa Amor was in a fantastic location- very private - great for chill-laxing. We were the only guests there which we loved, we liked that it was off the beaten track a bit added to the “wild” feel of the place. Edwin was a great host - you have to try the breakfast he makes at least once during your stay. Bring your own food there’s a communal kitchen you can use.

The road leading to the property as some mentioned is rough! We came just after a storm and many of the potholes were water logged- our rental car was just a normal sedan so had to go very slow through the potholes- so if you are renting a car get one with high clearance or 4 wheel drive for peace of mind. There were solar panels on the roof but didn’t seem to have hot water in the showers. Not a big deal though cos the water was not very cold. Electricity is only on from 7pm till 12am, but the kitchen has power 24/7 so you can charge phones etc there.

I liked that it was off the beaten path and right on the beach. I could watch the sunrise from my bed. I absolutely loved Edwin the owner. The whole property was great and the beach is literally 50 feet away from my room.

I didn’t appear to really have any hot waters, but they also only run electricity from 7 PM to 11 PM which I didn’t have an issue with because I was gone most of the day

Its beautiful remote place, ideal to connect with nature. Ocean healing sounds, beautiful beach good for walks, friendly dogs that can acompany you on the walk. Edwin is wonderful person taking care of the place and guests. He offers his help before you need to ask for it. I thank him very much for all help and friendship.

Amazing location, far from the noise of the tourist area and resorts. Host gave us amazing tips as to great places to discover, restaurants etc.

Bedroom and bathroom was clean

The shared kitchen is not clean.

Amazing stay on a lovely "private" beach. It was such a special place, and the hosts were wonderful!

Only accessible by car and the roads were a bit rough

Edward and his partner are very kind and nice but unfortunately seems like they can’t do much to fix the place The view and the fact it is on the beach

SAFETY HAZARD : woke up to a black scorpion inside the room ( with no lights and total darkness at night ) Electricity only from 7pm to 11pm, and being in a secluded area it is total darkness Wifi very poor service and no cellular data in there room I wish they did a minimum of maintenance for the place at it has potential but with a scorpion in the room I left at 2 am to sleep in the car rental
