Casa Amor Pto Morelos

We had an incredible eco-friendly experience at Casa Amor, located right on a private beach. Edwin is an extremely friendly and gracious host who truly lives and breathes the eco-warrior lifestyle, generously sharing his unique location and local knowledge. Guests should come prepared with some food, as the property provides full cooking facilities, a refrigerator, and a well-equipped kitchen. The rooms are simple but effective, and the views are simply breathtaking. This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to step away from the tourist circuit and enjoy a more authentic, sustainable experience.

We were not aware that electricity was from generator and it was turned off at night so the fan stopped working and the room became very hot.

Edwin’s place is like nothing else we’ve seen during our trip around the Yucatan peninsula. It’s right in front of the beach, with a beautiful swimming pool and a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea. If the rooms are simple (no hot water or electricity during the day), it is part of the charm of the place. Here you come to enjoy the view and the calm.

Nothing, the place is lovely. Just don’t go there if you want the luxury of a 5 stars hôtel. Those can be found a few miles away.

Breakfast was delicious! Location was perfect! Very very friendly host. Accommodation was basic, but hygienic. Would recommend!

If looking for a fancy, all-inclusive, room service, air conditioner hotel, it aint here. This is a place to disconnect from your world, but a good place to connect with new people from different places. Located somewhat remote from Puerto Morelos, better rent a car to come here. And bring some groceries so you can cook on the community kitchen. Great spot for pictures, swimming in the ocean, walking in the beach a running among the mangle.
