Friendly hostess, great breakfasts, lovely room, great location

We stayed for 7 nights. Rosanna and Eduardo are THE BEST HOSTS. Right from first booking, Rosanna helped with all and any enquiries, including about the island, not just about the accoms. They live in the same building so it is super easy to contact them, or have a conversation at times during your stay, but they are never intrusive per se. Breakfast is wonderful. Each day we were provided with a bountiful breakfast of white and brown fresh rolls, cheeses, deli meats, boiled egg, fresh fruit, cake, yoghurt, fresh orange juice, milk, coffee, tea, chocolate quick, cereals, home-made jams (variety of flavours, all superb) and honey. Cakes made by Eduardo, change varieties daily. Fruit is different so their was enough variety easily for the week. Can use kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave in breakfast area at anytime. You are given space in the large fridge to put your own food/drinks. We liked their jams so much we bought 6 to take with us! Also has lovely liqueurs they make themselves. Free WIFI worked really well.Lots of power points everywhere - either side of all beds, near couch, near desk & TV (flatscreen, decent size), etc. We had room #2 just past the breakfast room. Need to be able to walk up small flight of stairs to get to it and then again within the room itself (not many). It was an extremely spacious room with a queen bed, 2 single beds, a couch, 2 dressing tables, 2 comfy chairs with coffee table, a small desk, TV and a large area with coat hangers and bench space to put bags. Bathroom small but functional. Has a small patio, perfect for a sit with a cuppa and nice view over old homes and to the ocean. Is located on a one way street with car parking down one side (we always found a spot not far from our door - we stayed early to mid April). GPS found the location accurately. Location is fantastic. Rosanna did a large load of our washing for EUR15. It came back a day later dry and folder lovely.

No deduction in score as this is personal preference only - the queen mattress was quite soft and I rolled slightly towards hubby. No issue as I just moved to one of the singles. If you like completely dark rooms like we do, then an eye mask would be good (but we find this in most places we stay as we happen to like it really dark). Again, personal preference so no deduction in score. Our stay was basically PERFECT.

We stayed in the sea view room on the top floor and it was spectacular! Lots of space, very very comfy bed and a gorgeous view of the town and sea that faces the sunset! The breakfast was amazing. The homemade jams really make the whole experience unforgettable as do the homemade fresh cakes! The hosts are some of the friendliest hosts we have had! Would definitely recommend staying here! The only disappointment was that I only came with carry-on luggage and couldn’t take any jams home. If you have an opportunity to stay here please make sure to save room in your luggage to bring home some jams!

Rossana was a great host, she gave us a warm welcome and met us again in the morning during our delicious breakfast. Beautiful spacious and clean room with a great view where we watched the sunset.

The apartment is located on the top of the building and has a nice open layout , with bathroom and two large beds. Great views to the ocean and to the mountains. Very clean and nicely arranged. Excellent breakfast with many options , including home made jams and cake. We praise the hosts, Rosanna and Eduardo, for their hospitality, eagerness to help and for the obvious dedication they put in this tourism project.

We couldn't believe it when we saw the room - it was even better than in the pictures! This is definitely a 5/5 place to stay. We had a beautiful, spacious and clean room with a spectacular view. The location is very centric and there is also a free parking lot nearby so it is easy to access by car. We were taken care of with kind hearts and it felt like home. Every morning we woke up happy. The breakfast was beautifully set and so tasty! All of our wishes from plant-based options (oat milk, soy yoghurt etc) came true. We had to buy a couple of homemade soaps to keep Rossana with us for the rest of our long journey. Obrigada por tudo!

A healthy and varied breakfast is included to start the day. The beds were comfortable. Well situated.

All good. A little nervous about leaving rental car in the narrow street, but there were no problems.

The property is beautiful inside with a stunning view and a little outdoor balcony to enjoy it from. Rossana is kind, thoughtful and amazing host! I wish I had more nights to spend there.

Rossana and Edurado could not have done more to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was exceptioal, with fresh homemade mini cakes from Edurado, and a variety of jams, and different fresh fruit everyday. They especially catered to our dietary needs. Room was comfortable, with a strong fan, and plenty of space and storage. Location was perfect, 10 minutes walk to a fantastic beach, and one minute from the church and square where we were treated to a 4-day religious festival, with all the music and colorful sights. Highly recommended. Thank you so much, Rossana & Edurado!
