Sandsides Guest House

We had a wonderful stay, with a delightful tastefully furnished and exceptionally well equipped room with EVERYTHING working perfectly. Our host greated us on arrival, offering help and showing us the room. She was exceptioonally thoughtful and very skilled at making us feel comfortable, with little touches like fresh milk. Her advice on where to walk along the nearby promenade and where to eat perfectly matched our abilities and tastes. Her impeccable judgement, and collection of books and art work, made a return visit essential. The fresh fruit, plain yogurt and full-English breakfast reinforced our desire to return - but for more than one nught next time! AND VERY SOON!! <((-:}=

Everything about the stay was perfect. We had two problems getting there, neither of which are the venue's fault: (1) I put 22 instead of 122 in my satnav, and (2) gas-pipe repairs exacerbated the task of recovering from my error.

The whole house was decorated beautifully n everywhere was v clean. Lovely breakfast room with a dust tank n relaxing pictures.

The property was homely with everything you need, hosts were excellent and friendly! The cooked breakfast was an excellent standard, special mention for the sourdough banana bread 😍. Perfect location a few minutes walk to sea front and to town centre.

Such a lovely stay - attention to detail and lovely host - didn't stay for breakfast as was meeting family but was given a slice of warm banana bread for the journey! Will never stay anywhere else!

The breakfast was excellent, varied, healthy and I think all dietary requirements would have been catered for, mine certainly were. Breakfast was eaten in a lovely dining room with quiet, lovely music playing in the background. My room was very clean and comfortable and catered for all my needs. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Rebecca was great, lovely decor, nice wee room and bathroom, great breakfast, it all worked out great. Very handy location. I liked it all.

An absolute gem. Rebecca and her Mum were perfect hosts. I was made to feel so at home. I adored my single room with its own bathroom. I can't wait to return. The attention to detail is beyond expectations from the gorgeous hand soap to the artwork and the freshly cooked breakfast was utterly delicious. Thank you.
