The lady that was assisting us was not friendly, she just unlocked the room for us and left. We didnā€™t even get the WiFi password. The room was not clean, it was stuffy and smelled damp as thereā€™s no sunlight coming into it. I called and asked for a different room and was told that the manager would be contacted, with no follow through. I donā€™t believe the room is suitable for guests to stay in. Even as we were leaving, we were not asked about our stay, nor the discomfort we experienced.

Breakfast was fine and affordable as served in the restaurant, the view towards the day was fine, there was no noise and the co-visitors and staff were friendly. commune kitchen was well organised

floor between the kitchen and bathroom has no tiles and accumulated some dirty. windows in the kitchen were not clean, need some attention, apart from that all was well.

We enjoyed our stay. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. The room had everything we needed: clean linens, fast WiFi, hot shower, and thoughtful extras like hot and cold beverages. The area felt safe and it was an easy drive to get around hartbeespoort and nearby attractions. Excellent value for money. Weā€™ll be back most definitely
