A lovely homely b & b. A beautiful peaceful location and the gentle sound of the nearby church bells gave it an extra special vibe. Jane, the host was so welcoming and her breakfast was smashing. Highly recommend!

An excellent place to stay. A comfortable, clean, attractive room with good facilities. The breakfast was exceptional. the prune, apricots was delicious as was the perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. The cafetiere of coffee was a good strength too. Definitely a place to return to.

Nothing stood out that we did not like.

Our 2nd visit and experienced the same friendliness from the girls. The room again was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast excellent. Our room this time was on the top floor but we were helped with our cases as we are elderly.

Unfortunately hot water had been an issue in the building that day but Sarah was very apologetic and helpful regarding this.

The friendliness of the proprietor Diane. My room was warm and cozy as was the bed. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast. I had poached egg on toast which was delicious. The Cook was very friendly too

There was nothing I didn't like.

Absolutely lovely guest house, with very friendly staff, lovely food and the bonus of a day time cafe in the building when we needed a bit of lunch after a wet and windy walk. The B&B was in a great location for us to have a couple of days hiking in the hills around town.
