Victoria House

Great location, beautifully decorated room, amazing breakfast, lovely staff and every aspect of the stay was covered in a very comprehensive information folder.

A blind was needed over the bathroom door just to shut the sunlight out in the morning but was only the tiniest issue!

Great breakfast, very good location , the bed was comfortable.

Our room on the 2nd floor was very dark. The window was small and overlooked a wall.

The staff, Sarah and Jane, were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, and I loved the victorian theme. Breakfast was good and I will return here again. Location is excellent as your close to many shops and eating places.

The room (Florinda) had a lot of character and was very comfortable. The kingsize bed was excellent. It was also good to see a bidet in the en-suite, not a common feature in the UK in our experience. The attention to detail was very good - things like the milk in the fridge in the room when we arrived. We also really appreciated the sherry on offer! The breakfasts were excellent, well cooked and tasty. The system of booking a time for breakfast and listing what you would like is also very sensible. The staff were friendly and looked after us very well. We were really pleased we chose Victoria House and we would certainly recommend it to others.

We loved everything about Victoria House. Self check in was very easy, our room was very comfortable and quiet and the breakfast absolutely delicious. All the staff were lovely.
