Outstanding breakfast!

We were not thrilled with the tub although the bathroom overall was super neat. With these tubs and handheld showers it’s easy to spill water on the bathroom floor. One suggestion: make sure to have a mat with good grip so that someone does not slip and fall.

The location is excellent, central to the town and most of the amenities you could need. The rooms, larger than expected and very comfortable. The staff were very kind and friendly. Diane will quickly responf to queries and requests. The breakfasts were very good. Certainly exceeded my expectations and worth another visit even if only to compare the decor.

Breakfast was delicious and very generous, great to start a hiking day. Check in and out was very easy. People were lovely and the inn is super well located for walks, and to explore the area. Would definitely go back.

Very comfortable room, nicely presented. Large bathroom with large oval bath. Large comfortable bed. Complimentary sherry 😊 Friendly welcome and a delicious breakfast.

Bathroom needed a little tlc. We stayed on a warm night so had to have windows open and it was a little noisy from the road eg early bin collection! An observation, not a complaint!

Friendly, helpful staff, pretty room overlooking the garden. Nicely situated centrally but in a quiet area.

The public use the cage for tea and coffee, which is right next to where we had breakfast, which felt rather strange.

Lovely old fashioned but nicely modernised hotel in excellent location. Nice clean room and bathroom, good shower, comfy bed. Interesting period features Good internet. Friendly helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Loved the complimentary sherry in pretty antique decanter set.
