I stayed in the Snug which was a lovely single room. Plenty of choice for the very tasty breakfast. Fan and fridge provided in room.

Due to it being very warm overnight it was necessary to have the window open. Unfortunately the church located just outside was chiming every hour overnight. Once I shut the window it was a lot better.

Very pretty decor in a beautiful old building.

Attic room where the roof faces the sun all afternoon. It was stiflingly hot with an only tiny window for ventilation. A fan is offered but difficult to sleep. You need to predict what you would like for breakfast the day before and fill out an online form.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, making me a packed breakfast as I had to leave early. Would highly recommend!

The room was welcoming, clean and cosy. I thought the decanter of sherry in our room was a lovely touch. The breakfast was tasty, fresh and hot with plenty of choice and more toast and oat milk at no extra cost.

The room was on the third floor which was difficult for my husband. We had a few problems with the television but the owner did offer to get someone to come and look at it but we refused.

Lovely decor in the Albert room. Very comfortable beds and a lovely view of the church. There was a great travel guide with local information, coffee and tea facilities and even free sherry when we arrived! My sister and I were walking in the Shropshire hills so the huge and delicious breakfast was very much appreciated. Great value for money and super central for Church Stretton shops, pubs and hills! The staff were so friendly! We’ll definitely be returning soon!
