Bridge View Guest House

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, couldn’t do enough. Amazing location and view, immaculate rooms, lovely and warm, top notch, free supplies of tea, coffee, water, orange, apple juice, water, milk, sweets, cake, popcorn, wine 🍷 honestly. The best complementary finishing touches ever! View of the ironbridge. Amazing breakfast, next door, brilliant security. Car park, large and secure. Faultless.

I couldn’t stay another day to enjoy it more.

location was excellent personal greeting and help with luggage was fab and much appreciated the treats in the room were great, thank you the coffee in the cafe downstairs was lovely but quite pricey

access to room (slippery wet metal stairs) . outside seating was used by noisy fellow guests who woke us up at midnight and were noisy at 8am on Sunday morning problems prebooking breakfast but decided not to book when we arrived as we thought it expensive at £18

Excellent staff who were friendly and helpful. Lovely, clean and well stocked room with homely touches. Excellent shower. Location was close to everything. Free parking close by.

Can be a bit noisy with sounds from other bathrooms especially in the morning. Lots of stairs but the staff are happy to help you with your bags.

A fabulous guest house right in front of the bridge - the view from my room was amazing. Breakfasts were freshly prepared and delicious. Big thank you to Richard and all staff for making my stay so lovely.

Great stay in an ideal location. Room had everything we needed. The local guide book and recommendations was welcome.

Our two rooms were great - well appointed and very comfortable. The location - right opposite the bridge and close to shops - was excellent. Meals were also very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking was a few minutes walk from the guest house.

There are no parking bays on the road outside the guest house, so you have to park blocking one lane while you unload your car. Staff assured us they have permission to allow guests to do this, but it's a bit scary and I felt bad blocking one lane for 10 minutes or so. But it's not a big problem. Once unloaded, the shared free parking area is a 1-minute drive away. It worked well and was easily accessed. There are a couple of steep flights of stairs up to the accommodation, which might cause some people to struggle with large suitcases, but the staff are very happy to help with this. So again, not a problem, but something to be aware of.

The location as the room had stunning views of the Ironbridge from all 3 windows, including from bath. The shower was fantastic. Safe, secure parking included in price only a couple of minutes walk away with the option to load / unload directly outside and an offer to carry bags to room from the friendly and informative staff. The fridge is also very useful, especially when it contains free treats!

Nothing, everything was lovely. I'm only saying we didn't stay longer than one night.

Staff very friendly. Check in easy. Room was a good size. Was facing the Ironbridge so great view. Nice touches in the fridge with the water, wine and fresh milk and the additions of sweets/popcorn .

Small double bed. But no a great issue. Bit disappointed that we were not advised that the main attraction to the area Blist Hill Victorian Village was closed until Mid May but can't really blame the B and B.

Central position in Ironbridge, friendly staff, room well equipped and comfortable.

Not a good place if stairs are an issue for you as two flights and no lift. Not s problem for us though.
