Bridge View Guest House

Great location for a family wedding nearby. Staff were all brilliant - super helpful and friendly. We had 4 rooms at Bridge View for our party of 7. Breakfast in Darby’s downstairs was excellent and plenty of choice to suit everyone. Car park a short walk away was a bonus. Unloading luggage outside was no problem.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was excellent, spacious and spotlessly clean. Lovely view of the bridge. Parking is secure and easy to find.

Great location literally overlooking the bridge, quirky cute building and entrance to BnB, room was a good size and spotless, comfy bed, BnB has it's own free car park a short distance away. Excellent customer service, despite being very busy! Sam in particular was very welcoming, helped with our bags, took the time to explain everything with the room and even sorted our stuck window after it got wedged open. He is a credit to the business.

Only issue was road noise and noise from drinkers leaving the pubs in the later in the evening.

I frequently use Booking.com and this is the first time I have ever given a perfect score for a place where I have stayed. Every need was met. The room was lovely, the location good, breakfast choices excellent and varied in the cafe below - even the coffee was made to my taste. The helpfulness of the staff finally tipped the balance from merely "very good indeed" to "superb". They anticipated my needs. For example, a young staff member heard me struggling on the phone to book a taxi and came across to ask if she could book one for me and then organised someone to take my luggage to it. Nothing was too much trouble. They took pride in doing a good job.

Everything was perfect. Nothing could have been better.

There’s something magical about watching the light hit the bridge right from your window. The bridge is also lit up at night which we didn't realise with changing colours. The location is truly unbeatable. We were equally impressed by the morning spread; the breakfast was thoughtfully curated with a great selection of hot dishes that catered to every craving. A lovely, seamless stay

The contents of the fridge varied room to room. - but this by no means affected our great stay.

Good location

Conquer room very small managed to change after 1st night. Difficult to check in had to leave car on narrow hill with double yellow lines until cases upstairs then had to park several hundred meters away. Lovely staff but don’t understand why it’s got such good reviews. Next time we will stay at the great western.
