Firefly Guesthouse

This was such a unique stay in a quirky colourful fishing village. In a stilt house right on the water, the balcony was such a magical place to welcome the morning. Not much to do in the village, but walking distance to lonely beach where we spent most of our days

Simply wonderful stay!! Awesome owner and staff, the food his wife makes is local and super delicious. Quit place with stunning view to the sea. One of the best experiences i had on booking.

Everything is AMAZING!

I loved that place, it is very remote so I would recommend gettin a scooter for 10 dol from Koh Touch or Long Beach at get there with it. It is quite remote so may not be suitable for everyone but it was lovely.

Perfect view, friendly owner. Mosquito net over the bed. Socket by the bed.

Island. Everything expensive, everything far from here. I was unlucky, the weather was bad and it was difficult to leave island.

What a lovely spot right on the water, perfect for the sunrise, watching a storm roll in or relaxing with a couple of beers. Wifi was excellent which we weren’t expecting and the staff were lovely. There was a good fan in our room. Lonely beach not too far on the bike, 20 mins on a rough road.

The stagnant fresh water that you shower with using a bucket was swimming with worms… maybe should be emptied and cleaned once in a while. The noise from the barking dogs at night was tiresome at points.. the rubbish in this area is very bad :(

At first, I hesitated to come to Firefly Guesthouse because it takes a while to get there but it was totally worth it! It’s way less touristic and much quieter than in the south of Koh Rong but there are still fun things to do (like kayaking for 7.50$ for the whole day, I did this and discovered many completely empty and beautiful beaches to take a rest at). The whole family (including cat Ming Ming) were incredibly nice and their food was amazing! There’s free WiFi now and it works well.

Everything was amazing, I would love to come here again!

Perfect remote place for a traveler who wants to calm down with some possible activities still. Great host couple, they cook best food I've had in Asia.
