Yellow House Prince Albert

Beautiful setting.

We were recommended to stay here by friends but only realized that it’s more geared up for self catering which we didn’t need. The venue is right at the end of the town itself … we thought it would be more central.

The bed! Although of a good size, The mattress is too hard, with no cushioning or support … terrible for the back … could not have slept there, had we stayed longer ..

Very friendly and considerate staff. I mistakenly unhooked my trailer in the wrong place far from our unit. When I returned from the shops, the farm staff moved it right next to our unit with the tractor - very impressed. I had an exposed plug on the trailer that the guys noticed and covered with a plastic bag before turning on the spayers - awesome. Got a very nice bunch of wood and ice for our first night's braai. Loved the little swimming pool right in the middle of the fruit tree orchard. Amazing stars at night. Nice books in the unit to read. Received a whatsapp on 2 small items we left behind, with an offer to get it Pudo'd. Overall, it was just a super experience, and we will definitely return.

Nothing, really. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to experience everything that Yellow House and Prince Albert have to offer.

The owner double booked our room , and so booked us into alternative accommodation- a brand new , unfinished concrete house in town , not a plant in sight. We specifically booked a farm stay to be in nature and for our son to be able to run around. Disappointing does not begin to describe how we felt.
