Location was excellent, right in the centre of Windermere town and only a short walk from the train station. An easy walk down to the lakes at Bowness and a good central point to get around. The room was incredibly clean and cosy. Carmel was so friendly meeting me at check-in and there for anything you need! I would definitely recommend to stay here

Clean and elegantly decorated accomodation. The owners are warm-hearted and ready to help. They also kindly kept our luggage for free for half a day after we checked out, while our friends were charged quite a few pounds at another place for that.

The room was amazing - very well equipped with all the amenities and many thoughtful little details that made our stay extremely comfortable. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was definitely worth the money and truly deserves its excellent Booking.com rating. Carmel was extremely friendly, kind, and explained everything perfectly. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The only small thing we felt was missing were blackout curtains, as the room gets very bright in the morning, which made it a bit difficult to sleep longer. Otherwise, everything was excellent and highly recommended!

Got exactly what I expected, and more. Very friendly and responsive host, clean and comfy room, well-equipped with everything you'd expect. It is in a great location (less than 10 mins walk from the train station and main bus stop, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby) and you can start some great walks literally from the doorstep. The ensuite is nice and has a good shower. Comfortable chairs and bed. Everything about it is perfect for people who want a nice play to stay the nights and evenings while going on walks or doing other activities in the day.

There were two or three wall sockets in different places across the room which was nice but none of them could easily reach the bed which meant a long usb cable was needed to charge my phone overnight. Not a big issue, and an easy fix if you have a long cable or don't mind your phone being out of reach.
