Highland Moors

A very nice, well run hotel. Run by a friendly and capable bunch of people who care about what they're doing. Prices very fair. A great place if you're walking the northern section of the Wye Valley route. Highly recommended.

nice comfy room with t.v and wifi. staff were very welcoming and catered for every need, always there to answer any questions, we had two dogs with us and were pleasantly surprised that there were aloud in to the dining room with us. beds were comfy room was very clean. food was good.

Easy check-in, staff were lovely. Upgraded to a front, bay window room, with lovely views, for no extra charge. Didn't have evening meal, as we were booked to go to a nearby concert, but food we saw looked excellent. Good nights sleep, very peaceful. Superb breakfast. Will certainly stay again. Thanks.

Was a little bit further from town, than expected, but traveling by our own car, it didn't matter. Bar was a little sparse, but functional. Wouldn't put me off.

Breakfast was satisfactory and met the expected standard. Clearly, a lot of thought and effort had gone into the decorating and furnishing of this large older property.

The lack of an evening meal. I was offered dining, but at 6 pm only. Sadly on a Monday the large majority of pubs and restaurants were not serving food. I ended up with a fish and chips supper from the fish and chip bar in town. The meal was excellent though.

Dining area good layout; Moroccan lamb tagine was exceptional. Comfortable, well-furnished lounge. Nice ambience. Plenty of parking.

Room 7 a little dated but comfortably adequate. I struggled with the room key, which was very fiddly.

Super friendly. Free pool table which is next to a small bar. Importantly for us, great car park away from the road. Great for motorcycle touring as a Midwales stop.
