Breakfast was 100% amazing. Dane and Fay were helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable (e.g. about places to visit, local restaurants/hotels), but not intrusive in any way. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Location not brilliant, but not really an issue, as this was simply a base. Parking fairly tight but OK. These are very minor negatives compared with the positives above.

Dane and Fay were fantastic hosts, they always had time for a chat giving us information about the area. The bedrooms were comfortable, warm, and welcoming. We would recommend staying at The Stables Guest House. We give it 5 Stars.

Dane and Fay are amazing hosts! They are so kind and friendly and are ready to help you and give you good advice about the area. The room is great with a good bed. Their home is so beatiful.The breakfast is very good too. It's in a great location to explore the galloway forest. I had a lovely stay.

I wish I had stayed longer. There is just so much to explore in the area.
