Property Notes

Wizards Thatch does accept non-crawling babies and children older than 5 years old. Travel cribs for babies are not provided directly by Wizards Thatch, so guests should bring their own. Dogs are permitted ONLY by direct approval from the owner. Please note that due to the age and nature of the property there are uneven floors, narrow stairs and some very low beams, especially in the bathroom. Door heights are also low. Due to the huge amount of old timbers, no candles are permitted. Check-in after 7 pm is available upon prior arrangement only. Guests are asked to contact the property by phone to arrange this.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

Very quirky. Very comfortable. Close to the village. Had everything you need and loads more. Four poster bed a luxury. Friendly and helpful, couldn't want for more.

"Cosy, fun and a great location"

Loved the styling and the thought behind it. Was there with daughter and Grandchildren and they all loved it. It was a great add on to our visit to Lapland UK. Cosy place to stay. Ian is a really friendly and helpful guy. We only had one night though and would have loved to have had more time. Warm, clean and fun!

Apart from not having enough time there only one minor thing, there is no kitchen sink so I had to take the cups to bathroom to wash them as we needed to use them again.

This place was unbelievable. The best place me and my partner have ever stayed. I it was truly amazing. The owner Ian is a top bloke, a real nice guy. 👍 we will definitely be back. Love this place. 😀

Really unique property, full of character and charm. Lots of space in living room and able to make snacks or breakfast if you wanted to. Excellent location, very quiet and just a couple of minutes from the high street

Couldn't park on site but we could park nearby for a small fee
