Very friendly staff throughout the entire stay. Delicuous breakfast, spacious and spotless rooms, great swimming pool with warm water and very good overall experience.

Denisa Hotel is beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and comfortable. The staff are professional, helpful and courteous. The location is high in the mountains, and as it was not yet skiing season, the rooms were mostly quiet. A very nice buffet breakfast is offered when a majority of the rooms are occupied; otherwise, the a la carte breakfast is still good. We had the only room on the top (4th) floor, and it has a wonderful open design, plus nice views from the balcony.

Not all the advertised amenities were available each day. The full breakfast buffet was not offered when only 2 rooms at this boutique hotel (11 rooms total) are occupied. The same rule appeared to apply to the jacuzzi and sauna. They were not in use when we arrived, and they were not activated even when all the rooms were occupied. If those items are important to you, you may want to enquire if they will be available during your stay. There is no restaurant at Denisa, but the dining options next door, at Hotel Escalade, are wonderful! We weren't really happy with the American pop music that seems to be playing in every restaurant and lobby around Romania, but when we mentioned it to the staff, they very graciously attempted Romanian pop music instead. Staff member Daniel is an angel, and we do recommend that you come stay at Denisa Hotel! It takes about 30 minutes to drive into Braslov.
