Stayed here on a stop over and loved everything about the place, especially the warm welcome from the owner who even gave us a free upgrade! The room is very spacious and everything was freshly cleaned and spotless. My only disappointment is that I didn't stay longer.

Location was perfect and the host was very friendly.

Thin walls between the rooms, the bed was too soft, and the shower curtain door hinge was very noisy and squeaky.

We loved the hot tub after hiking around! Shame the weather was not the best, on a plus note we visited in June so we had a chance to see baby pony and sheeps. The hosts are super helpful and friendly. The location is superb with lots of Tors nearby to visit in a decent walking distance and a spectacular quarry. The property has a shared kitchen fully equipped that we did not use on this occasion. The Fox Tor caffe' and the price of wales pubs serving amazing food and drinks in a 2 mins walking distance

Great for a couple of nights stay in Dartmoor. Very comfy bed. Good water pressure in shower. Fantastic spa area

It’s a little bit tired and dated and room was a bit small but it is really great value for money. The spa lifts the stay at the property to next level. I would stay again

Room felt a little on the small side (room 1) Personally, I'd rather lose some of the 'kitchen space' and have a comfy chair or somewhere to put your bag but as we only stayed 1 night, we realise our needs are different to others.

Comfy rooms, easy parking, owner is amazingly helpful and has brilliant local knowledge, the hot tub is fantastic!! Also very dog friendly.
