Super friendly hosts who were very helpful as far as finding somewhere to eat with closing times etc.The location is just perfect for Dartmoor.Amazing that there was a large fresh milk in the fridge of the well equipped kitchen

Clean and large room. Good for a family. Very helpful staff. Good location to reach many places of interest in the region. Onsite parking available.

Limited restaurant options within walking distance, but not a big problem if you're willing to drive.

We had a lovely one night stay at the ramblers rest, very dog friendly, our greyhound was very comfy. The hot tub was a great addition! Would recommend.
