"A comfortable overnight stop whilst travelling from Birmingham to Barmouth"

7.0

It was in a nice area with a courtyard with a large table and chairs where we were able to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. It was basically two rooms. One with a bed and settee, the bed was very comfortable, a microwave, fridge, cutlery, plates and dishes, cups and glasses also a Tv. There were two types of cereals and we had kindly been left a carton of milk so we didn’t have to go out looking for a supermarket as soon as we arrived. The other was a bathroom which was very well equipped with shower gel and shampoo and hand wash and hand/ body lotion. ,

There was a lack of washing up facilities. Yes there was a sink in the bathroom but could have done with a bowl and some washing up liquid to be more hygienic. There was a tea towel to dry up. It was a small room but fine for one overnight stay.

"Small and cozy space."

8.0

The place was clean and all on one level, except a small step on entry. Well stocked with what was needed for a short stay. Great that there was a fridge with a small ice box as the weather was very warm.

We both have disabilities so the walk from and to the car with luggage was difficult.

The water from the shower came out very hot & couldn’t be adjusted Hot tap dripped & needs fixing too. Bed mattress a little soft & springy

"An cosy, inexpensive cottage, in a location that is easy to explore Shrewsbury."

10.0

A lovely little property, cosy and did the job perfectly for a weekend trip away with a friend. Cereal and Milk provided which was welcome. The recommended pub with a mile The old three pigeons was also a perfect place for food.

Bathroom tap needs fixing as hard to turn and drips. This is extremely minor, just pointing it out. The cottage itself can’t really be faulted.
