Great Accommodation

Very cute and cosy little cottage! Had a very homely feel and everything we needed for a night away.

It was convenient for my appointment. The 3 Pigeons pub was excellent. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm. Comments NOT complaints - I could not find a bottle opener for my beer. I would suggest that the bracket for the tv was changed to one with greater movement. I was unable to watch the tv from my bed. The cottage would have been easy to find in daylight, but I arrived in pitch black/darkness. The village has no/few street lights. So maybe some additional signage ( say on the gate ) or even some permanent lights by the gate would have been helpful. Overall I was very happy.

I kept waking up throughout the night by a smell. This smell was similar to cleaning fluids. I got to the point where I believed that I was imagining/dreaming about this . The whole objective of staying overnight is to get a good nights sleep rather than a 3-4 hour journey in the morning.......so I was not at my best in the morning ....................................I found the cause of the smell in the morning..............it was one of those Febreze things, NEXT to the bed, but hidden by a bedside cupboard that was the culprit....it had been pumping out the vapour at regular intervals !!!!!!!!!

It was, without a doubt, the most lovely and special place to stay. It is beautifully decorated, so comfortable and has wonderful views. I've stayed in a lot of places around the world, and this is up there as one of the best.

Everything was perfect.
