The host, Adam was very nice and helpful. The location was great. The layout of the rooms worked well for us.

No air conditioning.

The property is a kind of rural house. There are some rooms with shared bathroom and toilet, but we choose the luxury apartment with bedrooms on different levels, private bathroom and toilet, with beautiful interiors and views from the windows

There is no fully equipped kitchen but this is not stated in the property description. Everything else was perfect

The guesthouse is full of atmosphere. Many thoughtful touches from the friendly host, including ice, good filter coffee, cold water in the fridges, access to a fridge, wine and beer. Plus access to the on-site cinema. The island and the town are lovely.

Really interesting & unique place. We saw a movie in the tiny cinema one night, which was a great experience. Were in our room the following evening while the movie was on & it really wasn’t loud enough to affect us at all. Our host Adam was really charming & very helpful.

If you are a tall person or over 60-ish, you may find it difficult to negotiate some of the small spaces or odd angles of the place. It all adds to the charm really but would definitely be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

Adam went out of his way to accommodate me and it was a very last minute booking. I arrived with a pair of the most disgusting shoes I had ever experienced, and he found me a small place out of the way where I could clean them and let them dry. When I booked a bike rental from him, he sat down with me to figure out what I wanted to see on the bike ride and helped me work out the best path and gave me a good map to use. And because the theater under the hotel is loud and can be hear through the floor, I was given free entrance to see the movie I would have been hearing anyway. The decor was lovely and the outside spaces even better. The position near the center of town but so close to the beach and the trail that goes all around the island was perfect too. I will come back and bring a group of friends to enjoy this lovely little island! Also, a great bonus for a Danish hotel...cold fresh drinking water was readily available and free (a rarity in Denmark, often you have to pay for drinking water there). Bathrooms are shared, but were quite lovely. They were well ventilated and had lots of space, were kept clean, and were well supplied with towels, nice toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. I didn't feel like I was lacking anything. Breakfast was offsite, but Adam made arrangements with a nearby hotel that has a nice little Danish style breakfast buffet and they were able to meet my needs with my different dietary issues. They even baked me a fresh gluten free bun every morning and always offered to bake me a second one if I wanted it.

Honestly, Adam was a great host, responsive and willing to help. I'm not sure he could done anything to have made the stay better.

Excellent communication with Alex the manager; he took such great care of us, from making bike and breakfast reservations, to just making sure he was available to answer any questions/needs. Photos don’t do the guesthouse justice. In person it is even more charming and cozy, with very thoughtful details and pleasant decor. We loved the layout of the suite and found we had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the private bathroom was very spacious and nice! Kids loved the bunk beds. We had access to a mini fridge already stocked with cold water, a tea station with plenty of cups and supplies, and a teapot filled with water ready to go! It’s the little things, like the guest chocolates and robes. The windows look out to the sweet cobblestone courtyard. This place is so charming! Super quiet and peaceful!

Maybe it’s the norm in the countryside, or maybe it’s because I left the window cracked, but I woke up to a large spider crawling across my pillow and later again across the bed. Later another wiggly bug on my pillow (thankfully I wasn’t laying on it)! I knew I should have closed the window, but thought I’d leave it open to feel the crisp, fresh air. The shower is cute, functional, and has good water pressure but I felt a little cramped. All the steps are very tiny and I found it scary to walk up and down the albeit cute stairs.
