Casa de la Gente Nube

The room itself was really big, the beds were so comfortable. They also have mosquito nets, which is hardly appreciated. The owner is really nice and tried to make the stay very comfortable for us. We also had a private hammock just for us.

It is really close to the beach, but it is also close to the main road near the gas station. No AC.

Casa de la Gente Nube is a nice place running by a very friendly family. Aladino, the owner is a very attentive host, provided very good recommendations for restaurants at Zicatela beach which you can reach in a few walking minutes. I really loved the sea view while enjoying a tasty breakfast. Also the internet was working well.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the room was dark when you close the wooden windows (no glass windows).

They are located near the beach, location is very good.

The place was missing cleanliness. We found blood on our towels, and small drops if it in our bed sheets. Jam was bubbling (fermenting), bread was moldy wich is unacceptable. Proprietary offered us a financial compensation for the lack of cleanliness, told us he was gonna cancel our reservation (afterward). I guess it is a way to keep Booking.com rating high. Travelers beware. Also the owners dog was spilling trash in the night and growled at us. Danger is the last thing you want in vacation.

Staff was lovely. They let us check-in early as well. That was helpful.

Zero privacy. I could hear every single word from our neighbor as if they were in the room. No soap in bathroom or shower. Room smelled of urine.
