the fans barely provided any air, the mosquito curtain had holes and there were severe water issues for about 6 hours with no water

the road noise was terrible. very difficult to sleep

I spent 10 relaxing days here. My room was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, a good shower, a ceiling fan, and a table to work at. I particularly liked the free breakfast that's included—fresh fruit, cereal, bread, coffee, and freshly pressed OJ. Most guests go up for breakfast and it's a nice atmosphere, with a view of the sea. Great way to start the day. Thanks for having me!

I was woken up by a barking dog a few times in the middle of the night—sometimes it would bark for up to 30 minutes, which was quite annoying. Nothing the owner can do about nearby dogs, but just FYI that it could disturb your sleep (then again, this is likely to happen anywhere you stay in PE). There's also a Selina not too far away that pumps some loud music in the evenings.

Our first room had a leaky toilet, and we were moved right away. It's located a bit away from the "main" part of the town with restaurants and bars, but there are some nearby. The beach is a few minutes away, but it's a bit of a climb to get back to the hotel. The owner arranged a tour and a taxi for us and was friendly. The free buffet breakfast had fruits, cereal, bread and juice. There were also other breakfasts available to buy. There was a hammock outside our room from where you could watch the lizards and birds.

A bit difficult to get a hold of staff without their Whatsapp number. It's just off the main road in and out of the city, so some larger trucks were heard.

very loud and some constructions work during the day .. not really relaxing

Beautiful room with rustic style and views of ocean from the patio. The free breakfast of cereal, fruit & bread each morning was appreciated. Mosquito nets were useful. Great shower & bathroom. Geckos just outside (& sometimes inside!) the room! Comfy beds.

Wifi. I booked this property based partly on wifi reviews as I was working while travelling, and found it very unreliable. Better near reception but constantly cutting out, weak signal and I went to a co-work instead. There is also noise from the highway all night, so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll hear the trucks.
