Private Villa Bonobo

I took my parents and sister to Puerto Escondido for the first time and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay than Villa Bonobo. Myrna and Alicia made us feel completely at home; it was a perfect mixture of relaxing but vibey; rooms were super comfy and the breakfasts each morning were excellent. I'm already looking forward to going back!

Villa Bonobo is a place where you will feel directly that you are at home with your family! Alicia, Myrni and Cinthia are the best hosts you can wish for! From having the best breakfast together in the morning and the great bbq’s. The personal attention that you want! I was here for the fourth time and it will definitely not be the last one for sure! Thank you sooo much for having the best time in Puerto. Muchos apreciados ❤️

Very comfortable rooms and nice pool area. Great communication with staff.

Chose this hotel even with the distance to the beach because we were looking for something quiet. Most of the time it was that but on the night of their weekly bbq it gets so loud. We expected it to wind down at quiet hours at 10 but that was far from true. We were unfortunately right below and chairs skidding against the floor until 2 am kept us awake.

Villa Bonobo was great! We loved the spacious private room which was big, secure and had a nice pool view. The bed was comfy and the shower was powerful + hot. Fantastic communication from Frank (via WhatsApp) from the moment we booked it (even before we arrived) and this continued during our stay - we were given great recommendations and told about the nearest cash points. Breakfast was included and was delicious each morning

We liked everything - we just wish we could have stayed longer!

Our time at Bonobo was one for the books! Even before we got to the villa everyone there made us feel super special and well taken care of. They addressed any details we could've thought of regarding our stay, so that we could focus on enjoying our trip and making the most of it. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you for everything :)

The place is beautiful, the rooms were very spacious and clean, and the staff make this place absolutely fantastic. Everything you need or want, they help you. They share lots of suggestions and the communal feeling with the other guests, that you can opt in or opt out of, felt really cozy. Location was great, close to the restaurants and bars in la Punta, with a beautiful view over puerto

We loved our stay at Villa Bonobo. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and really helpful in suggesting and organising things to do. Everything was clean, and the rooms were comfortable. Our room had a terrace, which was great. Breakfast was basic but good. It's a great place to meet people and be social, and the pool area was nice.

The only downside is that there is building work going on nearby, but this shouldn't put you off. But that's true for a lot on properties in PE.
